Tiger Pause Submission Guidelines
TEXT
- The editor will review and polish all submissions as needed so your work does not need to be 100% grammatically correct. However, the writing should be as complete as possible.
- The editor will condense writing as needed when there is limited space, but the integrity of the content will remain.
PHOTOS
- When submitting any photos for Tiger Pause, please include the correct spelling of the names of those who appear in the photo.
- If there are students in the photo, please contact the parents for an “okay to print” before submitting the photo and let the editor know that you have received that “okay” when you submit the photo.
- JPEG images are the preferred format.
ARTWORK
- Artwork cannot exceed 8.5” x 11”.
- JPEG images are preferred. Clip art inserted into your text document is also acceptable.
- The editor will add clip art images throughout the newsletter as needed.
GENERAL
- Let the editor know in advance if your submission will require a full page to determine if there is enough space.
- Email is the preferred method for all submissions. However, hard copy submissions can be placed in the Tiger Pause folder located in the staff workroom. Hard copy images, student work, etc. will be returned as soon as the issue is ready for distribution.
