Be a Superhero!
It’s time for us to unite for our Super-Students! Be a Superhero and help ease the pain of district budget cuts by participating in the Family-Faculty Connection (FFC) Pledge Drive 2010.
Donate at the Tiger Pledge level of $180 per student (approx. $1/day) or at the Super Pledge level of $225 per student. Super Pledge donors who respond by October 15th will receive their Dingeman yearbook and a limited-edition reusable shopping bag and stainless steel water bottle.
Unite with us for the FFC Pledge Drive 2010 and help us reach our goal of 100% participation. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and always voluntary. By simply turning in your pledge card, your participation will be counted toward our goal.
Additionally, many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. Ask your employer today!
Please return the pledge card to your child’s classroom by Friday, October 15th. Don’t miss your chance to be a Superhero - respond today!

Dear Dingeman Families and Community Friends,
I love this time of year! All summer long, I anticipate the start of a new school year. You know school's just around the corner when you shop at your favorite stores and see the aisles chock full of school supplies in early August and then nearly empty by the end of the month! There's something about the tradition of picking out new lunch boxes, clothes, and backpacks with the kids that gets me fired up about school!
I would like to welcome back our returning students and welcome our new students and families. Our office will open on Monday, August 23rd and we are available to assist you with registering your child if you are new to the school. We are all eager to see the students on Tuesday, Sept. 7th! I hope you can take a little time to stop by the auditorium after drop off and check out all the ways to get involved at Dingeman.
In Partnership for Excellence,
Kimie Lochtefeld
Dingeman Principal

Dear Dingeman Families,
It’s that time of year again! It’s time for teachers to set-up their classrooms. It’s time for children to dust off pencils, backpacks and lunch boxes. It’s time for parents to juggle schedules, help with homework, and volunteer in our schools. It’s all so exciting!
It’s one of my favorite times of the year because I will again get to see so many friends, teachers and staff members that I have missed over the summer. It is also time to meet and welcome new friends and families to Dingeman and Scripps Ranch. I encourage everyone to get involved in our school community and share in the excitement of our campus.
The FFC is hosting a Volunteer Fair kick-off event on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in our Multi-Purpose Room. This event begins at 9:15am. Plan to attend so you can learn how to be part of the excitement this year. Another great way to learn more about how to become involved is by attending our FFC meeting each month. The first meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 6:30pm. We will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room. I hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Shellie Kalinsky
FFC President 2010-2011
